Vz80 fuze from a V1 'Doodlebug'. German ww2 One of 3 different ones present in the missile.

Hello, I purchased the two items pictured in a job lot of militaria a few years ago and have been unable to identify them. I was led to believe they may be something land mine related, but I’m unsure.

The picture shows the front and back of them, they’re both identical. They’re 8” across, with no visible markings or anything of the likes.

I’m keen to find out what they are and if they are indeed military, so any input Is appreciated, cheers!

Got given this from a pal. All it says is 'Eley' on the remaining bottom of the case. I like it,was free. British. modern?

Slight internal variations is the difference.

Brace of type 89's used for bursting open containers,such as supplies or incendaries for example.

Is it worth adding colour to sectioned ordnance?

So I've just bought a mills grenade that has been sectioned rather well and I was wondering if it would be worth adding colour to the cross section as to draw attention to the internals rather than just Grey, Grey and more Grey. I've seen it on a few mills so far and it looks really good.

Close up of the fuze workings. This fuze being the early aluminium version before they introduced the steel tile-breaker later in the war.

You can clearly see the original springs and striker pin. Ive replaced the original removed detonator with a brass rivet

SD-2 'Butterfly' Bombs

SD-2 'Butterfly' bomblets. Two types shown here. The early version with AZ41 fuzes,The charge has screw threads for the fuze. German ww2

The later version of the charges came with 'bayonet' threading. The right hand one with an AZ70B-2 anti-disturbance fuze.

Also present here with the gaines on the fuzes.
