DAK D Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) Here are some photos of an early WW2 second class Iron Cross. These were made using WW1 frames and they are smaller than a standard WW2 Iron Cross. Notice the ribbon has a very distinctive orange central part. The last photo shows a comparison between the "Shinkel Iron Cross" and a standard WW2 produced Iron Cross. (Photo credit for the two different versions together goes to Stewart's Military Antiques) D Edited May 2, 2016 by DAK D 1 1 2

DAK D Posted October 30, 2018 Author Posted October 30, 2018 Thanks Chaps, By the way this particular second class Iron Cross was manufactured by Deumer, these Schinkel form 2nd class Iron Crosses are the most common version. D 1 1
