Peter44 Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) Being fond of the US helmet, I have a few... More pictures to follow! Edited February 12, 2016 by Peter44 3
Peter44 Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 Here is one of my earlier M1 helmets: A Schleuter fixbale shell with first pattern Hawley liner... The interior of the liner, rayon webbing and fixed leather chinstrap typically for this type of liner can be seen. Enjoy! 5
horridohutch Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 That Hawley looks brand new, post some bigger pictures so you can show it off!
Major General Bil4338 Posted February 23, 2016 Major General Posted February 23, 2016 Agreed, that's one lid which deserves many more pixels!
Mitter2k1 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Killer helmet collection! You definitely need to get some close up shots
pylon1357 Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I like this display for sure. I noted with interest the American Kevlar helmets on the upper left. I am currently looking for one with the Army cover as worn on base in KAF. I was given a uniform while there, would like to add a helmet. Most places I see then are either asking an arm and a leg, or don't ship outside the USA. 1

I'm getting my daughter in LA to take stuff for me, then send on later...:) 1
