So I find myself in Whitby for the weekend as my wife is gigging.

I'm tempted to go to RAF Elvington tomorrow. Anyone fancy a last minute meet up?

YAY, ,don,t forget to have a look at the medals hut, there.s so many there your eyes will roll, its certainly the biggest collection I,ve ever seen, and then pop around the corner in the same hut and look at the peg board with all the Third Reich awards. Enjoy it.

I've been to Elvington more than a few times over the years. I like it. You can't compare to RAF Cosford or Hendon obviously, but I'm a fan. I would have spent the full day there but had to do Eden Camp as well due to only having one day free on this trip.
