HetzersGonnaHetz Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Been offered this EK2 for my US entrenching Tool, very happy with it but neither me nor the other party know anything about EKs. Pictures below, does this maker mean anything, I believe the 138 maker mark is common? 1
DAK D Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Hi @HetzersGonnaHetz, Well it's not a really common maker, but not rare. The cross appears to be OK? Here's a link to another one for you to compare it with, notice the "138" is very crude on both examples. If the cross has an magnetic core and is made from three parts it should be a good one. http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/iron_cross/2nd_1st_class/2nd_class/manufacturers/138/138.htm Get the seller to take some photos like the ones in the attached image and you will know for sure. HetzersGonnaHetz Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 Good to know mate, it's magnetic and has three piece construction 1

HetzersGonnaHetz Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 An m1943 mate. It's an apparent rare maker, AF & H so the trader wants it, and I want his EK2, were friends so it works out really well. I think they're about £30 on average, not too sure tho bud.
