It finally arrived!

Winter camouflage helmet. Someone mentioned that it may have been hastily whitewashed rather than painted white in a factory. Possibly from the first winter in Russia.

There is a photo online somewhere showing two German soldiers painting their helmets with large paint brushes  (I would imagine that it tickled quite a bit) !!!!!

Hello Dave,

I hope you and your family are well. But thinking about what you commented to me - This topic was 4 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- just to say what about new members who are scouring through this site and see an item they like....surely they are entitled to make an upvote or like it if they feel it's suitable to do so, whether it's 1 year ago or longer, that's partly how we get new members that we appreciate their comments etc?

Please correct me if I am wrong....Or does anyone out there agree with me?
