val Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Condition: Used Seems like Kurland dugout - Item location: Ventspils, default, Latvia Very sad look https://www.ebay.com/itm/WWII-WW2-German-Original-Radio-Station-Part-/223171026408?oid=113436377193
kriegsfunker Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Yes. very sad. But you can argue for a ground-dig radio display. If you have the space for it, have a shelf with some really decayed parts.
val Posted February 5, 2019 Author Posted February 5, 2019 Another sad picture series... https://picclick.de/Wehrmacht-Tornister-Empfänger-B-Berta-Funkgerät-Baujahr-1945-183525101845.html
kriegsfunker Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Yeah, interesting spectrum of conditions. We all have examples in our collections of radios in such good conditions, like they were made yesterday, and have restored items which really needed restoration. On another subject, it is a useful thing to do - turn on your radios at least one time per year, and run them for about an hour or two. It restores many of the electrical components and keeps the condition good.
