Mike H Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Anyone else push cardboard pieces around? Just got this little game in the mail, Lettow-Vorbeck, East Africa 1914-18 1
Mike H Posted October 16, 2019 Author Posted October 16, 2019 The latest game on the table No Man's Land is all about trench warfare in WW1. This setup being scenario 10, Spring 1918, titled The Gladiators. German Stormtroopers attacking a French Trench. The picture was taken after the prelimanary bombardment and has knocked a small hole in the defense. Also a bombardment of the French command post has knocked that out for the moment anyway. This is originally a French game and I think at times the rules didn't quite translate into English that well, but with game play videos on you tube you can get this game up on the table and playing in no time. 1
Desert Rat Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 (edited) Hello Mike, In fact I did buy a small game as such in France, cardboard cut-outs that people bought for their children to cut out and play a game together ...all to do with the French Resistance beating the Grmns. Best to you Desert Rat Edited October 16, 2019 by Desert Rat 1
Desert Rat Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 I have just bought another four of these cardboard cut out games today - Liberation of Paris etc etc. I didn't realise they printed so many. The FFI with the barricades, tanks, stens etc etc.....These French Resistance FFI/ FTPF/ MUR/CDL/ and many more Reseau groups.....certainly gave the Grms a run for their life. Great for the kiddies to remember those who sacrificed their lives for France! Best to you.....Desert Rat/ Ian 1
