Hello,

Have an empty box with tag and schema, but no readable marking.
Can you identify device it contained from schema ?
5 pins connections look telephony to me...

Thanks

@dufleuve - from WAF i remember that over a time you got lot of different

interesting FLAK communication devices. Care to make here separate

topic about them? Thanks in advance!

This is the distribution box for the "Fernsprechgerät für Kommandozwecke".
Connected to each flak is a throat microphone with 5-pin plug and a headphone with dynamic system from Neumann & Borm.
The Wehrtechnikmuseum Röthenbach has more information about this distribution box.

Hello Val,
Up to now, I have the "Verteilerkasten for batterie mitte" and some cables and connectors.
I got the L.Dv. for Ubertragungsgerät 37 since last week, which gives a lot of interesting explanations on the box usage.

I'll post pictures and more explanations next week on this forum.

Cheers

Hello Alperator,
The "Sprechgerät" connects to the Verteilerkasten Batterie Mitte with a round 10 pins plug, so definitely not this box.
About 4 of the box you display here are installed on a Flak 88 : one for the gun commander, one for both pointers and one for the fuze setter operator.
They are fed from either the KommandoGerät via the Ubertragungsleitung 37 or from the "Sprechgerät" via the 10 pins cable.

Will give more details and pictures next week.

Cheers

Sorry Alperator,

This is actually part of the "Fernsprechgerät" for light and middle flak, as well as the box identified by Val.
My comment refers to the other topic I started for heavy flak.

Can you post that L.Dv. here? It would be interesting to read it.

Val,

I have it in microfilm with a bunch of other info. Got it converted for a price to pdf as a 1,2Gb file.
I will try to extract the L. Dv. to post here.

Val,

In which subforum should I start the topic ?

Maybe create a subform for flak stuff ?

Yep,

Will use that one.

Hello folks,
I got today this box Fernsprechgerät for light and middle flak. Same as the one starting the thread, but with interior fittings.
Exterior has been either cleaned/refreshed by some previous
owner and color is a bit yellowish.
Inside appears complete, except the self ? ampli ? in the middle of the circuit.
I assume the compartment at the back is for batteries ?

Note the use of Franz Lange type connectors along classical phone lines ones.
Interesting ink stamped notice about using the FFK with the device.

Wondering how the connection was setup on the gun side. I never saw a picture of a 3,7cm or 2cm flak with a phone type connection like heavy flak.

Cheers
