I remember an old guy brought one of these into the Police Station when I was on light duty due to an injury, It was a firearms amnesty so people were bringing in all sorts. this bloke just plonked it down on the counter, said he picked it up in Germany during the war and then just walked away. I had to call the Bomb Squad, they took it away and blew it up, a report came in about a week later, the bloody thing was still live!!!

What a great account, how he got it back from Germany we may never know, but luckily no one was hurt at the station.

Crazy I suppose what people bring back as souvaneers!

I blagged a load of marble from Sadams palace in Bazrah, with a few badges and helmets etc, etc...
