I've had a few Lugers over the years, shot them live when we could do that, and as for the deacts, once I dry fire them a few times, strip them, etc. etc. they just sit on my desk. I traded a lovely example along with a P-38 for a really nice Les Paul guitar a year or so back, and was happy to do so.. Lugers come and go, but sweet Les Pauls are hard to find. Saying that, I now have 18 mills bombs so who knows... 2

The sights are really crude. My hand shakes too much to hold it steady.
