This is my first ever deactivated weapon so i had to share it with you lot.

I wasn't planning on getting a deac for a couple of years but the new legislation helped me persuade my fiancé.

Ok can you name the smallest part on the Bren that has the longest name definition

I knew that was the case about the smallest part but didn't remember the name. I'd forget my own name if people didn't remind me lol. Just googled it

yes @Ham & Jam I do like that its war dated.

the only thing with it is the barrel is a mk1*

but that doesn't bother me to much

Its called the Barrel locking nut retaining plunger lug, had to learn that to pass weapons training in ACF, I dont know why but that has stuck with me since then lol

Agreed, very nice example. Maybe tomorrow if I get off my arse, I will take a few picks of mine. They are a thing of beauty for sure. My uncle Harvey was a Bren gunner with the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment, during WWII.
