He was totally off the wall but hilarious, his film about his war service was bonkers and he played his own father and Jim Dale played him, I still have,nt read his books though.. My two other favourites were Tommy Cooper and Norman Wisdom, I met Norman on a TV set, he pulled up in a Rolls, got out, walked a few steps then did his tripping routine, everyone was in stitches, later on he did his shadow boxing gag because he said he was bored, My sides hurt so much I could,nt concentrate for the rest of the shoot that day

I have nearly ever one he has written I think I am four short on my last check,Puckoon is my personal favourite.

These were some of my Christmas box from wifey,the calendar comes in handy as my memories terrible ,the picture I have yet to frame,and an original signed letter,which again I am looking to frame.  

Also 3 CD box sets of the Goon shows and Milligan madness  God love her .
