Is it amateur diggers hours lol,it's an Air ministry aircraft tail light 9_9, right I am away till Friday so I shall leave it to the others ;).

I am impressed with that one H & J. Mosquito to be exact, (98 code on metal parts). Time for something not RAF/USAAF.......

Well after giving it more than a week for someone else to take up the gauntlet (Getting bored now ;)) they are PIAT triggers and Sears.

Yes @Ham & Jam, correct again! This was found at an RAF dump site, on the side of a hole dug by illegal diggers. They left it behind because they were too stupid to know what it was. I found it sitting there when I recon'd the site prior to a dig authorised and permitted by the land owner. Just goes to show, illegal diggers = stupid (in SOOOOO many ways).

Your knowledge is great H & J. I must try harder. How about these.........

But my Mrs has something of similar length but that is ribbed,and runs off D cell batteries,these look more like triple A  o.O.

It's the nut to protect the propeller shaft from a B17 engine, prior to fitting the propeller.
