Wood worm in an ammo box?

Hi fellows,

I bought a WW2 polish made German 7.92mm ammo box, it has lots of tiny holes on it, I assume it is wood worm, any product that'll get rid of the wood worm that won't damage the box further?

Go online, order some Boron ultra 12 , thats the best stuff to use, no smell and no damage caused and will kill all infestation, but because there,s already holes the adult bugs have gone but may have left pupa behind, once you,ve done that you could seal it all with flat matt varnish, so the wood looks normal

Tap the box a few times and look if there is coming dust out of the holes.

If so, then the worms are still active!
