I love that post card. Just fantastic. As for them there pointy helmet things, yeah... I suppose they have a rather high cool factor as well.

Cheers @DAK D at least with the reproduction picklehaubes at less than £60 each I don't mind the public handling them.

   On another note the postcard has been on my wants list for a while,the only other one I am seeking was one produced in 1914 by a Belgium company which showed in pencil drawing form the 'Huns rampaging army's troops ' throwing baby's up and literally catching them on the spikes of the helmets. Not a visually pleasing card,but one that sums up nicely the propaganda of the time.
