WW1 Cartridge Belt with Canteen. And a Calvary Canteen.

The cartridge belt is made by Mills and pat. 1907, manufactured 1915.

The Miller-Hexter Co. canteen cover is 1917, the canteen itself is a "spun aluminum " type. I think it was made in 1916. When they first started making this type they made it  from 1910-1912 but it had a "flat top". In 1913 R.I.A. Came out with the two halves that were welded together, this was a cheaper process. In 1916 A.G.M. made a limited supply of the spun aluminum type again but they hap a " knuckle top".

The Calvary Canteen cover is made by R.I.A. and dated 1918. The canteen and cup are both made by A.G.M. and dated 1918.image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Real nice stuff @Beastly! My canteen is similarly dated but sadly missing the strap and cup.
