2nd Class KVK marked Deschler

Hi fellas, 

Recently bought 2 items one being an 88mm shell, and the other being this, a pretty mint KVK 2nd Class with wrapper, ribbon and packet. It is marked '1' on the ring which is the MM for 'Deschler', due to its very good condition, I believe this was one of many awards found during the demolition of the old Deschler building during the '90s, now called the 'Deschler Hoard'.

Nice one Hetz, could you do something though, cut those threads off the ribbon and do the burn test on them, if they burn away to nothing, great, but if they form molten blobs then they are modern nylon ones

Thanks David, very happy with it, and yes I will do, it's coming from the US and is currently on a voyage across the pond, so unless it gets torpedoed, should be here anytime next week, and I'll do as you said. ? Award collection is growing slowly now so very happy, might get another EK next or a combat badge, not sure yet? Hmmm
