Tri-Color Camo M40

Hi All!

This helmet was acquired as part of a grouping to a US Troop Carrier, which included quite a few German bringbacks.

Sadly, the liner is completely dry rotted, but all in all, it displays nicely.

Underside is rusted, so I'm unable to see the maker and lot #.

In any case, I thought everyone may appreciate a fresh out of the woodwork camo helmet.

Very nice M40 helmet, original paint, right patina, shame about the liner but the camo makes up for that, try using chalk dust to bring out the make size and lot number, it sometimes works on rusted areas like that
