I was at "Beltring in 96"

I'm not sure if the photo is from that year, but it was taken in the 1990's.

All the uniform items are original WW2 issue!

Only attended selling with my estranged father for around four years but was bloody good back then,although the shower and shitter arrangement left some room for vast improvement ! Lol.

Hi @Fred Karno's Army,

If you wanted a morning shower you had to get up at about six in the morning, or wait in the long line. The toilets were disgusting at the best of times and the smell alone was enough to put off most people

Still is to this day. I hated the site. Folkstone venue for the 5 years it ran,was supreme compared to this hellhole

Yes Beltring  was a hellhole, I went to the loo there once and never again , after that I made it a rule to go before I got there, and I liked Folkstone you could have a jobby in peace there and it was a hell of a lot cleaner
