MilitaryMementos Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Can anyone help identify the maker or age on this Japanese sword ? It looks like a WW2 Gunto, but for some reason the blade has been highly polished or maybe plated. Not sure why. Any help would be much appreciated as this is way outside my area of knowledge 1

MilitaryMementos Posted November 18, 2017 Author Posted November 18, 2017 Not yet. Identifying Japanese swords is difficult if you are not familiar with the language and alphabet. Hopefully there will be an expert among the MCN members 1
