Hello to you Radio experts,

Can anyone Please confirm what this radio case and contents are?

Are they from SOE.....or from an American Spy Set?

Do you also know what this may be worth?

I, Thank you very much in advance for all your kind information.

SSTR-1 "Suitcase Radio"......Many Grateful Thanks Val,

I am still in the dark, as do you as a professional believe this is the actual (part of) the SSTR-1.....Radio as used by the OSS or British?

Many Thanks...Ian

There seems to be several versions of those...yours seems to be SSTR-1-B

But as always - for exact ID the detailed close up images so that each and every label is clearly visible is highly recommended.

Many Thanks Val,

This one is not complete as far as I know, but has the parts that could be interesting for some collector to buy? But not sure how much he wants for it.....I dont want to be robbed, but he is very fair and can find many radio items left by the Germans in France...He must have in his for sale - 2,000 plus items from both wars etc etc.

Best to you & Many Thanks...Ian/ Desert Rat

Hello,

Thanks to you all for your positive and helpful comments and links.

Unfortunately....He now wants 6, 000 Euros for it (and I have to collect it from Toulon, (as he wont post it as too heavy), France- No problem as I pass this town every year for my holiday home in Frejus...But It's too much money for me!!!

Thanks to you ALL & Best Wishes.....Desert Rat/ Ian
