Did the orpo sets radiate a detectable signal

About this subject  initiated on WAF by  ARYEH

I found an answer , the germans were award that they can emit a signal giving

a warning to the clandestine station , so if it happens it means they were not

perfectly trained or carefull  as it was knowed by their instructors.

the radiated signal is only received  around 100 m  or more  so very narrow

to their goal the clandestine station

Thank you very much. The reference from "Fighting Warsaw" that I posted was correct . I haven't seen other references on this subject and curious if SOE knew about it.
