Dress Buckle maker?

Anyone ID the maker of this Buckle? I've looked in my book but cant be sure on my judgement. Thanks

Hard for me too....If I had to gander a guess I would say unmarked Overhoff? Can't say for sure though. Nonetheless - nice buckle!

I would agree with Rob, its a possible Overhoff but there appears to be an overstrike on the second "T" in Gott and also the eagles head?????

your right @Davejb first time I noticed the head. Ill have to have a close look at it this weekend. interesting!

I got the buckle cheap. $75 US seemed cheap to me, even though its a bit salty.

That is a bit of an ugly eagle and some of the letters on the motto are rather poorly formed. I'm curious to see what the outcome of this discussion will be.
