Very nice piece Rich, and I would say pretty rare in that condition

You see them now and again Dave, they always seem to be in relatively good condition, perhaps they were not that popular with the troops?! Quite a cumbersome thing to don when you already have the jacket with hood and a steel lid? You don't see that many pictures of them in routine use.

The left one under the top two is reversible the others just one sided rayon lined, typicaly Luftwaffe issue was the early belief, I am not sure if this is still the thought as it always seems to be changing.
