British pith helmet by Hawkes & Co

Just got this pith helmet at an auction, very excited with it, I paid quite cheap (R$ 270 = US$ 65). Sharing pictures in other forums I was told that it was made between 1912 and 1917 (Hawkes bought 1 Savile Row in 1912 and from the post code it's no later than 1917), can anyone confirm that? I was also told that I could contact the company and find out who ordered this back then, I already sent them an e-mail.

I think the price depends on the named letters inside, its obvious  that its a personal helmet and if you can find out who that name belonged to, that would help to determine the price,it could be a senior officer who was well known or just a guy who put his initials there
