WW2 german army wehrmacht canteen GNL 43

I have found a German canteen but it has some unusual writing on the cap GNL 43. It is a little beat up.Can someone please tell me what it means and what does it costs.

Nicola, looks to be a HJ or SA type canteen, could have had a military lid paired with it missing the felt cover not that valuable, €5 or so?
