Preservation of Capture Papers

I am looking to see if anyone has found a successful method for preserving and protecting documents.  I have the capture papers for a Walther PP that I would like to halt from any further deterioration if at all possible.

Just an interesting side note....after some research, I learned that the officer that signed the paperwork, Capt. Fred D. Shanks went on to open the first ATF office in 1972 and was also involved in many major battles of WW2.

You could have this placed in a small frame and have one of those anti glare glass parts or one of those that filters out uv light, I,ve done the same with a letter from my uncle who was a Royal Marine and helped to bring the German "Prince Eugen" into Emden Port at wars end
