does anyone have any idea what this could be? I’ve found it in the loft.

No it was just this right in the corner covered in cobwebs.

Yes, Merseyside, UK.

It’s got Velcro but too small to fit around a wrist. Picture next to my computer mouse for size reference.

Well velcro is not old, perhaps something European/Gulf, France, Belgium or even Iraq? Might be worth a search in those areas?

Velcro was a British make and it was made in 1957, but this looks like the newer type and i have an idea that it might not be  military

If military at all the only thing I can think of is a more modern shoulder board slip on. Like East German army used to denote patrol leaders or something along those lines.

Could be Dave, I have had a search but the only thing close is the BR hat has a similar band on it? Not much comes up on the search other than that?
