Help identifying unknown helmet

Bought this from an antique store, haven't a clue what model it is or which period it is from. Found the letters IB stamped on and a boxed K underneath. Any help would be appreciated.

Possibly, after looking into it a bit more I've realised it may be a late Swiss M18/40 with the K meaning Carl Kyburz of Bern
