I once heard a great story about Hendrix, he was performing early on in his career with Eric Clapton and in the middle of the show Eric Clapton left the stage and he was found smoking a cigarette and having a breakdown, when asked why he said 'you told me that lad could play good, but not that good'

You know your getting old when this came on radio 2 this afternoon and i had to crank it up full and sing along lol,not heard it for years,it was a good job I was in the Lake District on a road trip alone lol.
