M.18 Swiss helm

Here’s my latest acquisition, very lucky to get this for a real bargain price, an original pre-1940s refurbishment M.18 Swiss army helmet.really amazed and delighted to add this one to my Swiss contingent! Not many of these around in this configuration as most were refurbished ca.1940-43 with the more familiar schwarzgrun sawdust/crackle finish.

...and this is the refurbished example I have.you can see the original apple green inside the shells dome.note the variation in shades! Also the lighter green showing through the wear on the outer shell...
