Mark K Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) Argentina started production on the M 1 in the early 1960,s the helmet's total weight is approx 1.250 grs ( Shell 900 grs and liner 350 grs ).. This particular example was manufactured by Direccion General De Fabricaciones Militares.. ( FM ) and should be dated from the mid 1970's as best I can tell the helmet body bares no mark and or heat stamp.. Some clues to production timelines can be gained from the helmet body construction, bale placement and chinstrap clip's.. This particular example is sporting a green cover which in actuality is a flat green jacket detachable hood, which were officially adopted and used as helmet covers... And a set of Argentinian produced Falkland War era Goggles known locally as ( Sky Goggles ) Regards Mark Edited October 3, 2019 by Mark K 1

Davejb Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 If you have friends in Uruguay and Argentina, can you ask them if they know where Hitler is, its about time the bugger was caught!!!!!!!🥴 2
Mark K Posted October 2, 2019 Author Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) @Davejb friends down in Argentina are reluctant to show any kind of images of Hitler as they fear for their lives who can blame them once you see whom his personal bodyguard is a SMALL crack team as you can plainly see...
